		Green roof acoustic performance


Back		One of the many benefits of green and vegetated roofs is associated with the role they play in reducing the sound transfer on the buildings they are installed on. The effect they have on the buildings can reduce the impact of external noise entering the building, sound exiting the building or sound affecting the structure itself, such as ‘rain hammer’.
