One of the many benefits of green and vegetated roofs is associated with the role they play in promoting ecology, biodiversity and wildlife. The inclusion of more green and vegetated spaces, particularly within urban areas, increases the potential for wildlife in the form of plants, insects and birds to find suitable habitats.
